Paris Winter Wonderland....

Winter Wonderland in Paris is not like the one in Hyde Park London...
here...

On the most beautiful avenue in the world, 

we will find the Winter Wonderland of outdoor shopping = )

The Champs Elysees Christmas market is one of the biggest in Paris.

The Christmas Market is set up along both side of this Famous street between 

Round Point (Metro Champs Elysees and the Place de la Concorde (metro Concorde), 

but the atmosphere is festive all along the Champs Elysees up to the Arc de Triomphe.

With more than a hundred wooden chalets, stallholders will be selling crafts, foodstuff, handcrafted toys, clothing, gifts and edible specialties from France and around Europe. 

Every year Champs Elysees is transformed into a winter wonderland of holiday fun with the famous Christmas light, sweets and all kind of gifts and even a little amusement park with roller coaster and rides for kids. 

Surely make an ideal outing with kids in Paris

 The air is full of a heady mix of roasting chestnuts, sweet cotton candy, churros- yummy and crepes and every type of food you can imagine. 

The atmosphere here is so festive and the streets are packed.

The Grand Palais des Champs Elysees...

commonly known as the

 Grand Palais : Great Palace.

Large history site, exhibition hall and museum complex.

The exterior of this massive palace combines an imposing classical stone facade. 

A little known fact is that the Grand Palais has a major police station in the basement which helps protect the exhibits on show in the Galeries nationales du Grand Palais, and particularly the picture exhibition "Salons" as the Salon de la Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts, Salon d'Automne and Salon Comparaisons.

The building's west wing also contains a science museum, the Palais de la Dcouverte.

Will be coming here again...
