Yes,
in this beautiful Park or Garden of
The Jardin des Tuileries
is a formal Paris garden that is
stamped with history...
Today,
the remaining gardens are a major source of fresh air and greenery...
The gardens are filled with dramatic marvelous statuary and sculptures awaiting to be immortalized through your photos.
Located amidst the Louvre,
ie Jardin offers an escape from the
crowded museum...
The Tuileries gardens stretch west towards Concorde and the Champs Elyees and are the stating point of the "Triumphant Line"
(a nearby straight path leading from the Louvre to the Arc de Triomphe and the Grande Arche de la Defense west of Paris).
A shortcut through here...
will certainly be a long leisurely stroll...
bcoz
the place is just very beautiful to enjoy...
take photographs...
enjoy the scenery...
the sculptures and statues...
well manicured trees,
ponds and fountains....
people watching....
etc etc...
you don't want to leave..
well the kids especially...
It is said that this used to be the backyard where the King strolled when staying at the Louvre.
(nowdays it makes a nice stroll after seeing the Louvre Museum and
feeling overwhelmed by it.)
Children love to sail boats in the Tuileries...
you can rent small sailboats your child can sail in the fountain.
Really a great way for kids to play and parents to sit in a nearby chair and relax for a while.
Just Envy the exclusive apartments that look out over the park...

Tell me about this view...

The trees followed an organized French design with straight paths to walk on.
The statues around here are by name artists. You can look them up in the guide if you wish. |
If I am not mistaken...
the buildings around this area are
Musee de I'Orangeries and
Galerie Nationale du Jeu de Paume
(originally Napoleon III's indoor tennis court).
x pergi tengok pun...too tired.
Just luv sitting down relaxing
& enjoying the Sunset.

Almost at the end of this wonderful Garden... (we started our walk from the Louvre... so it ends here... but if you come from Place de la Concorde or Champ Elysees/... this is the starting point for you) |
Roue de Paris...

Tempat paling best...tapi agak mahal sikit...

Cuci cuci mata...
Ramai orang kata datang sini... gotto try out their delicious versatile French dessert tradition French Crepes... |

Penat berjalan boleh naik niiii...
This area is the largest square in Paris.
This square holds arguable one of the best views of Paris, with the peak of the Eiffel Tower,
the expansive square itself
and down the Champs Elysees...
This is Place de la Concorde
The Luxor Obelisk
(French : Obelisque e Luoxor)
at 23 metres (75 ft) high Egyption obelisk standing at the center of the Palace de la Concorde in Paris. It was originally located at the entrance of Luxor Temple in Egypt.
Offered to France as a gift.
What is the Obelisk?
well, it's a red granite column, rises 23 meters high, including the base, and weighs over 250 metric tons. It is decorated with hieroglyphics exalting the reign of the pharaoh Ramses II.
Walking & enjoying the view..
Today, the open air square still looks quite similar to the way it did in the 1700s,
save the actual ground - which now consists of tarmac and cement.
Pakai kasut tumit tinggi....
by the end of your walk habislah tapak kasut...
So kalau nak jalan jalan d sini...
