Introducing the guide to Chanel bag prices as of October 2013. Some countries such as the UK and Paris have experienced some price increases, the US only has appeared to have slight increases which may be as a result of aligning the prices worldwide.

The below identifies which have been updated since October 2013.  For other countries, see here: SingaporeEuropeUnited Kingdom.

Tracking changes to prices will serve as a record to track any foreseeable changes in the future for some of the popular styles.  This list is meant only as a guide and your personal experience may vary depending on your country and the particular retailer.  Please be aware that differences may occur depending on season stock, applicable taxes and duties.
Chanel at the London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 is considered one of the few places where you can get a good deal on a Chanel bag. However, this depends a lot on the exchange rate since the stronger the pound the lower your savings. That being said the alternative is to buy Chanel in Paris since EU countries participates in a VAT refund (approx. 13%) for for tourists visiting the country.  Since the bags purchased at Heathrow are excluding the VAT of 20% (2013), then the cost saving is an immediate 20% versus the 13% (much less depending on the EU country).  The VAT refund for EU countries requires more work to get the refund to be applied versus the reduced price at the Heathrow airport.
To date the Chanel at Heathrow will mostly sell the higher end current season collection stock.  They will have stock of WOC, PST and GST’s; however, classic flaps and reissues are no longer being stocked.  Stock will include such things as the popularChanel Boy Bags and other newer collection styles such as the Riviera bags and Crave bags.  Reservations are available but are held for limited periods so inquire with the store for appropriate stock close to when you will arrive otherwise they will not hold bags for you.

Chanel at London Heathrow Airport is at Terminal 3
opening hours are from 7:00 – 22:00. Their phone number is 44-20-87541000.  Airports typically allow transfer to other terminals; however, moving through security gates is required with your passport and boarding passes. This also takes a fair bit of time to travel from one security gate to another.

(FOR REFERENCE USE ONLY:
Prices are approximate and it is important to contact the store directly for stock and price)
Expect to pay approximately 20% less for that are in UK boutiques

Duchess of Cambridge

Kate, 31, left her three-month-old son with her husband to attend the event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

\
The Duchess of Cambridge played volleyball today as she took part in a SportsAid workshop at the former site of the Olympic Park in London

It is understood the Duchess got back her trim figure
through long walks with her dog, Lupo,
and the odd burst on a rowing machine.
She also took part in ante-natal yoga classes,
which are believed to help
new mothers regain their figure afterwards
by ‘training’ their muscles to snap back into shape.

Dressed in a pair of skintight 'jeggings' by J Brand,
a Ralph Lauren breton-style top,
a one-button blazer by Smythe,
£695 diamond earrings by Kiki McDonough
and, of course,
those Stuart Weitzman for Russell and Bromley
‘corkswoon’ wedges,
Kate gamely stood at the net and
slammed back a few decidedly passable shots.

Kate was taking part in a sports workshop
at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
in East London run
by SportsAid,
a charity which supports
young athletes at the start of their careers.

The Duchess became patron of the organisation
last year and was, said aides,
keen to meet the athletes it was helping
face-to-face and get a 'detailed insight
into the challenges they face'.

It was Kate's first solo public engagement
since the birth of her baby son Prince George.

It is believed that she left her three-month-old son at home in Kensington Palace with her husband, Prince William.

The Duchess's Russell & Bromley wedges may have hindered her game however as one bystander claimed she missed a 'sitter'

Sporty Kate looked great in her skinny jeans and blazer as she got involved with the game on her first solo engagement since birth of baby George

Despite sporting a pair of Russell and Bromley blue heels and skinny 'jeggings' she managed a few quite passable shots and at one point she leapt up to score a 'spike'

The Duchess posed for a group picture with delighted young athletes
